General population surveys (GPS)
Overview
General population surveys (GPS) are one of the core tools underpinning the EMCDDA's prevalence and patterns of drug use key indicator which enables the collection and interpretation of harmonised, good quality data at European level. These probabilistic surveys are undertaken among the general population and can provide an overview of the prevalence of experimental and recreational drug use. On this page you can find links to a range of resources related to this topic.
