Notes:

Missing data were interpolated by assigning for the respective country the EU average year-on-year trend from available data. Altogether, 5 % of data points and 13 % of the number of clients were interpolated.

Countries included: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Latvia,Hungary, Netherlands,Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Sweden, United Kingdom.

Italian data was excluded because before 2005 it was not compatible with the TDI definition.

French data was omitted due to changes in reporting structures in 2006.

A revision in the German Core Data Set and the Hungarian data collection system in 2008 may effect the comparability of 2007-2008 values with earlier years.

The source of the data has changed in 2007 from 'Hungarian National Focal Point – National statistical programme' (1997-2006) to 'Hungarian National Focal Point – TDI data collection' (2007). The change limits the comparability of the 2007 data to previous years data.
