Index: 1996 = 100. Numbers of cases per country per year are presented in Table DRD-2 part (ii) in the 2010 Statistical bulletin.

It is important to note that the Czech Republic, Estonia and Poland account for a substantial proportion of victims aged less than 25.

Czech Republic did not provide data for 1996–2000, Cyprus and Slovakia for 1996 to 2003, Hungary for 2002 and Romania for 1996–2000. A computation method, defined by the EMCDDA (2001), has been used to correct this situation.
