'Selected issue' on financing and cost of drug treatment

During this period of fiscal austerity, increased attention is being paid to all aspects of state expenditure, including treatment costs. A ‘Selected issue’ published this year by the EMCDDA maps the main funding sources for drug treatment in a number of European countries. It summarises the available data on how much is being spent on drug treatment services, and how much treatment costs.
