Description / Type of Assessment:

The Opiate Treatment Index (OTI) is a structured interview designed to provide a measure of the effectiveness of drug treatments.

Domains measured / Life Areas / Problems Assessed:

The version ofOTI available here measures3 treatment outcomes; drug use, criminality and health status. The drug use questions allow the calculation of a quantity/frequency estimate (Q score), through the addition of consumption amounts on the two previous days and dividing this value by the time intervals between days.

Administration / Completion Time:

The OTI in its complete from takes 20-30 minutes to complete. Here,only selected components of the instrument are administered
