Summary: In 2003, the ministries of national education and health launched a 5 year pilot period aiming at transforming 22 voluntary high schools into completely smoke-free high schools (so-called "LNF" referring to the French title "Lycées non-fumeurs"). The 3 main actions are regulations, prevention and smoking cessation support. A full evaluation will cover the first three years of the scheme. >>
