Summary: The Institut Suchtprävention in Linz (Upper Austria) developed and accreditated together with the College for higher education on social work and health (Upper Austria), the Johannes-Kepler-University Linz (Upper Austria) and the College for higher education on pedagogics (Upper Austria) three training courses on addiction prevention and violence prevention. The target group are key persons from relevant areas with different levels of knowledge. By training of these key persons, addiction prevention and violence prevention should be anchored as multidimensional common task in the society. The training courses are building on each other and are organized as modules, so they can be attended besides work. The first and shortest training course (Zertifikatslehrgang) was implemented and evaluated as pilot project from 09/2008 to 02/2010. In the year 2008 the first Zertifikatslehrgang was implemented as pilot project. 20 participants were selected. An evaluation of the pilot project as longitudinal section study with interactive questionnaires as well as participating surveillance by external students was carried out. The results showed, that the quality of the referees as well as the content were assessed very positively. Allthough persons who had already experiences were less satisfied with the training course than persons without experiences. To be able to consider this in future trainings, the concept was adapted and some referees changed. In March 2011 27 persons will start with the Hochschul- resp. Masterlehrgang, of these 7 graduated from the pilot project (Zertifikatslehrgang). >>
