Since March 2007, the national focal point in Latvia has been located in the Public Health Agency within the Ministry of Health. Its main tasks include data collection on drug abuse and the monitoring of the drug phenomenon in Latvia, as well as providing support to the Ministry of Health in the development and implementation of state policy in the field of drug demand reduction and the provision of drug treatment services.
