The Cyprus national focal point was created in March 2004 by the Cyprus Anti-Drugs Council, the main coordinating body responsible for drugs policy in Cyprus. The primary role and responsibilities of the Cyprus national focal point are the collection, analysis, and evaluation of information and data concerning the drug use situation in Cyprus, together with the implementation of EMCDDA activities and other related national activities.
