First international multidisciplinary forum on new drugs
On this page of the EMCDDA website, you can access information on the First international multidisciplinary forum on new drugs (11–12 May 2011, Lisbon). The purpose of the forum is to take stock of the current state of the art in the area of new drugs, anticipate future challenges and identify common anchor points that can inform our future actions. In discussions, we will chart how the new drugs phenomenon has developed over the last 10 years, and explore through case studies differing national approaches. The programme is focused on early-warning systems and responses (risk assessment, control of new drugs, as well as options for treatment and prevention).
