RTX Academy for IPA Beneficiaries 'Collection, analysis and appraisal of drug seizure data', 2016

This two-day training seminar took place at the Fundamental Rights Agency in Vienna and was attended by all of the beneficiary countries of the EMCDDA–IPA5 project. The objective of the training was to provide an insight into the types of information that policymakers and stakeholders require when considering action in terms of national policy and the development of appropriate strategies and operations to prevent and respond to drug use and trafficking. Countries were requested to collect national data, particularly on drug seizures, covering the period of 2011–2015 and submit it to the international consultant by 16 November 2016. A comprehensive report, providing the results of this project, is expected to be available by March 2017.
