The annual report on the state of the drugs problem in Europe presents the EMCDDA's yearly overview of the drug phenomenon. This is an essential reference book for policymakers, specialists and practitioners in the drugs field. It is available for download in PDF in 22 languages or can be accessed as an online publication (English only).

Assessing the many facets of the drug situation in Europe is a challenging task and a wide variety of methods and tools are employed by the EMCDDA in order to do this. Existing tools are being continously refined and improved, and new tools are developed as needs arise.
